About

A proud queer and mixed AAPI artist, Anna is a Senior at Carnegie Mellon University’s School of Drama, where she is a BFA Acting/Musical Theatre student.

Originally from Beaverton, Oregon, Anna first discovered her love of musical theatre through a rather infamous 8th grade performance of “On My Own”, where she fell in love with the act of bringing on another’s humanity and life experiences into her singing.

During her time at CMU, she has been a part several mainstage productions. In her senior year; excitable and driven Alice Beane in Titanic, and the ambitious Kendra in Gloria. She also played Cassie in The Wickhams: Christmas at Pemberly: the first official Co-Production between the School of Drama and The City Theatre. In her junior year; the tenacious and hopeful Grusha in The Caucasian Chalk Circle, brutal and broken Regan in Lear by Young Jean Lee, as a member of the Quintet in A Little Night Music.

Aside from performing, Anna is a devoted cook, baker, fun-fact collector, and continues to aspire to read every book in her local library.
